Mean median and standardised prices by property type and quarter.

A modelling approach is used to produce a standardised price. The use of a mix adjusted approach controls for differences in the mix of properties sold from quarter to quarter allowing for price comparisons to be made on a like for like basis. The prices are presented by property type: detached, semi-detached, terrace and apartments. The figures are presented quarterly. Quarter 1 refers to January-March, quarter 2 refers to April-June, quarter 3 refers to July-September and quarter 4 refers to October-December each year. Standardised prices are only comparable within the calendar year. Prices should not be compared between years.
